# LithoMap Account and Data Deletion Page Reference

Page purpose: Explain how to delete a LithoMap account, remove local data, and separately cancel a store subscription.

Free exploration does not require an account, so a free user may have no LithoMap cloud account to delete. Users can remove individual saved areas and saved places inside the app; uninstalling LithoMap removes remaining local app storage from the device.

Registered users can delete an account inside LithoMap from Account settings. Account deletion removes private cloud account data as described on the page, but it does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription and does not by itself erase locally stored maps, places, notes, photos, or a profile picture. Those actions must be completed separately.
