Page purpose: State the limits of LithoMap maps, scientific records, land context, offline data, and field use.

LithoMap is a geology and field-reference app. It is not a navigation tool, emergency service, legal survey, title report, access authorization, professional geological opinion, or specimen-identification guarantee.

Maps, GPS, boundaries, roads, scientific occurrences, and third-party records may be incomplete, approximate, generalized, historical, outdated, or incorrect. A mapped record does not prove that material remains present, is exposed, is accessible, or may legally be collected. Users must verify ownership, access, closures, permits, collecting rules, routes, weather, hazards, and current field conditions with responsible authorities.
